Without Your Support We Won't Survive!!!The Elden Street Players (ESP) are a non-profit organization established in 1988 and it takes the combined financial support of our audience, season ticket subscribers, contributors and business sponsors to keep us operating. Every year grants seem to become harder to acquire for less compensation. We consider ourselves very lucky to have the support and sponsorship of the Town of Herndon, but our goal is to grow to a size that would allow us to survive independently should the Town ever decide to remove its support (an event we hope never happens). As the grants grow smaller, the cost of producing theatre continues to increase. In December, 1999 we lost our storage space which we enjoyed for free in the old Herndon mill building behind "The Closet." Luckily we have been able to afford to rent the space next to the theatre. With rent and expenses, the cost of the "ESP Backstage" is close to $2,000 per month. If your company would be interested in sponsoring the ESP Backstage, please contact us
by e-mail or phone (703-481-5930). We will return your
call as soon as it is received.
As a non-profit organization all donations and contributions to the Elden Street Players are tax-deductible. Contact us if you would like more information on how you can contribute to ESP. One of the best ways to support ESP is to attend our productions and spread the word to
build our audiences. Season Subscriptions are available
from August-November each year. Every production program lists our season contributors list, as does our website.
If
your business provides "in-kind" services to our theatre productions or is a
financial sponsor, we are glad to provide a link to your business
along with our links to our sister theatre companies.
