William Aitken (Lee) has appeared on the ESP stage in The Tempest, Freedom of the City, All the Kings Men, The Night of the Iguana and The Runner Stumbles. He has participated in ESP's entries in the NVTA One Act Festival for the past four years, winning Best Actor awards for Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen... in 1999 and Sexual Perversity in Chicago in 2001 and nominated for the Best Director award for The Moonshot Tape in 2000. He will be making his ESP main stage directorial debut this winter with Lee Blessings' Eleemosynary. He would like to thank Ed and D.K.. Act III, scene lii.
Jake Call (Saul Kimmer) is in his second production at ESP. This past spring he portrayed Jonesy in Side Man. At The American Century Theater he played Captain Williams in The Andersonville Trial. He was awarded the O.L.S.S.'s Best Actor as Buddy Layman in The Diviners. Jake would like to sincerely thank Bill Aitken for all of his warmth, kindness and support during this production.
Mary Ann Hall (mother) is happy to be back on stage with True West. There is a "mom" theme evolving here with her last few productions. She played Mama in GFP's production of I Remember Mama in the spring and Mom in ESP's Snow on the Moon. Her next job will be stage managing The Threepenny Opera. Just to fill in the days that have no rehearsal there is Girl Scouts, band, soccer and french horn lessons. Many thanks to her wonderful family who support her in this hobby.
Arron Rothbart (Austin) was last seen in Elden Street's production of The Rocky Horror Show. He was previously featured in ESP's season musicals Pippin and The Who's Tommy. He is forever grateful to David for guiding him through this production and trusting him with this role. He would also like to thank his friends, family, cast, and crew for their support and their help whether with lines or just being patient.
