Shannon Benton is excited to make her ESP debut, appearing with many familiar faces from her last production, Les Liaisons Dangereuses at VTC as the Marquise de Merteuil. Other recent area performances include Born Yesterday (Billie Dawn) at ACCT; Bus Stop (Cherie) at CRT; Proposals (Josie)-attended by President Bush and the First Lady-and The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Sunny) at LTA; the musical, Snoopy!!! (Sally Brown) at VCT; Cabaret (Lulu), Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (Joanne), Dracula (Lucy), The Will Rogers Follies and Pippin at DS; Barefoot in the Park (Corie) and Annie Get Your Gun at SCT; as well as directing and performing in many benefits for AIDS and The Make-a-Wish Foundation. You may also catch her imitating Marilyn Monroe and other characters for Cast of Thousands. Much love to my evil twin from your beloved Glinda, and to Tommy, who keeps me guessing every thrilling moment of the day.
John M. Bordeaux is delighted to return to Elden Street Players, where he was last seen wearing a single fishnet stocking as Dr. Scott in ESP's The Rocky Horror Show. Who knew that pasty leg would earn a WATCH nomination? Previous work includes Humphrey Devize in The Lady's Not for Burning, also at ESP. More recently, he had a minor role cleaning Valmont's boots in Vienna's Les Liaisons Dangereuses, for which he was nominated for an ACT award. His favorite work until this show was as David in BCP's To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday. (Where he neither wore visible fishnets nor cleaned boots onstage.) Accomplice has honestly been too much fun to be called work. Thanks, Todd - we're even. Many thanks, as always, to my beloved bride and friend, Janet Marie.
Ann Colly, a native Virginian, is thrilled to be working with the cast and crew of Accomplice. Ann was last seen in VTC’s production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses where she portrayed the role of Cecile De Volanges. Her other stage credits include Muriel Tate in Neil Simon’s “Plaza Suite”, Julie Jenkins and Ms. Gregory in “Museum,” Eleanor Kirby in “You Can’t Take It With You” and her award-winning performance of Miriam in “Steambath.” Ann continues her training at the Meisner based Acting Studio in Washington, D.C. and would like to thank all the members of “Phi Tau Gamma” for their amazing friendships. A special thank you to her family for all their love and support.
Tom Flatt has been seen on many local stages. His favorite recent area appearances include Proposals (Ken), The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Peachy), and The Sisters Rosensweig (Geoffrey) at LTA; Translations (Yolland) at Keegan Theatre; Born Yesterday (Harry Brock) at ACCT; Arcadia (Valentine) at TAP; Cabaret (Herr Schultz) at DS; Sylvia (Greg), Barefoot in the Park (Paul), Dancing at Lughnasa (Gerry), The Glass Menagerie (Tom), and Song of Singapore (Spike) at SCT; Durang Durang (various characters) at PCP; Bus Stop (Virgil) at CRT; and Snoopy!!! (Charlie Brown) at VTC. He has also directed and performed in AIDS and Make-A-Wish Foundation benefits. Special thanks to Evilina for forgoing the A’s, and to Shani, my favorite accomplice in life and love, who makes every night such a thriller.
Paul Del Gatto (Understudy to Tom Flatt) is a new face to Elden Street Players, but an increasingly familiar face to area stages. Having recently moved to the area (a proud non-criminal resident of Lorton) from the west coast, Paul has already performed in four shows with four different community theaters. His stage credits include Che in Evita, Osric in Hamlet, and Grumio in Taming of the Shrew. He has also appeared in the crowd of several movies, two commercials and done voice over work for several industrial features. Paul would like to thank his family for being so supportive of his acting pursuits.
Lorraine Magee (Understudy to Shannon Benton) will be making her Elden Street debut if necessary. She worked with most of the cast and crew earlier this year at VTC where she portrayed Madame de Volanges in Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Before taking a break to choreograph Big and …Forum (RMT), Lorraine was seen on stage in A Chorus Line (RCP) (WATCH Nominee), Kiss of the Spider Woman (TAP) (ACT Nominee), The Odd Couple (female version at MTA) and in Working (Paradigm Players).
