Where: RCP Rehearsal Hall, 266 Sunset Park Drive, Herndon, Virginia

Performance Dates: July 30 - August 21

Elden Street Playhouse is pleased to announce auditions for their summer musical - Sweet Charity.

Saturday May 8th 12 - 4 PM and Sunday, May 9th from 1:30- 4 PM.
Callbacks will be held Tuesday May 11th.

CASTING: All roles are open.

Charity: A dance hall hostess who desperately wants to be loved. Age 25 - 40. Strong Dancer.
Helene: Seedy ballroom dancer and friend of Charity. Age 25 - 40. Mezzo
Nickie: Seedy ballroom dancer and friend of Charity. Age 25 - 40. Mezzo
Oscar: A claustrophobic tax accountant. Age 30 - 50 Baritone
Herman: Authoritarian owner of the Fandango Ballroom. Age 40+ Tenor
Vittorio Vidal: handsome movie star Age 35+ Baritone
Daddy Johann Sebastian Brubeck: Leader of the Rhythm of Life Church. Baritone.
Ensemble: 4 - 6 men 4 - 6 women
The ensemble will be dance hall hostesses, customers, and various characters throughout the show. Great opportunity for singing, dancing and acting.

PREPARATIONS FOR AUDITIONS

Please prepare one song to showcase your best voice. Everyone please dress to dance/move.

For dancing roles: Men, character shoes or jazz shoes preferred. Women: character shoes with heel preferred.

Performances are from July 30th through August 21st. All roles are volunteer positions.
