A young nun (Susan Talbott) has died under mysterious circumstances at a remote parish in northern Michigan and the parish priest (Todd Huse) has been charged with her murder.  Suspense, passion, romance, and trials of faith fill every scene as the action alternates between reality and memory.

The Elden Street Players are proud to present Milan Stitt's The Runner Stumbles, a gripping mystery based on a true story, as the opening production of our twelfth season.  Directed by Gloria DuGan, the cast brings several new and familiar faces to the Industrial Strength stage including William Aitken, Kevin Adams, Jim Burton, Deanne Forkey, Renee Moyer, Laura Russell and David Sher.

Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

ESP Productions are partially supported by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
