Jack and The Giant

November 12 (Monday) & 13 (Tuesday), 2007
Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Place: Industrial Strength Theatre, 269 Sunset Park Dr, Herndon, VA
In this comic version of a classic story, a very human and stagestruck cow,
Drusilla, wouldn't mind being sold by the poverty stricken Jack if her new owner
would place her in a show.
The plot follows the story of Jack selling Drusilla for a bag of beans.
His mother throws them out of the window, where they shoot to the sky and the
giant's castle. In Jack's escape from the giant, Drusilla saves the day by
coming back in time to chew the vine down and destroy the giant.
CASTING: 1 Boy (age 10-12), 1 Man, 1 Woman, and an ensemble of 4 to 6
other actors (age 16+)
AUDITION PROCESS: Cold Readings from the Script
AUDITION PREPARATION: Come Dressed for Movement.
All roles open and volunteer.
Performances will be on Feb. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 Saturday performances are
at 11am & 2 pm Sundays are at 2pm
