ON STAGE NEXT!

tick, tick... BOOM!
a musical by Jonathan Larson

Before writing RENT, Larson had another story to tell, his own.

tick, tick... BOOM! is a pop/rock musical that tells of a young composer, approaching a crossroads in life, his 30th birthday!

His girlfriend wants to get married, leave the city and move to Cape Cod -- *tick*;
his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue and wants Jon to join corporate America -- *tick*;
and yet Jon is still waiting tables while trying to write the great American musical before time and life pass him by ---- *BOOM!*.

This musical is an endearing and thoughtful piece, embracing the universal ideal of holding onto your dreams through life's most difficult challenges.

Produced by Hilary Huse (Accomplice, Thumbs, The Runner Stumbles)
Directed by Shannon Khatcheressian (ESP directing debut)
Music Direction by David Rohde (Blood Brothers)

Production Dates: August 1 - August 23, 2008
UPDATED - Auditions: Thursday May 8 (7:30pm) & Saturday May 10 (1:00pm)
