Anne of Green
Gables
by R.N. Sandberg
adapted from L.M. Montgomery's novel
Just in time for the holidays, comes this family story of a high-spirited
orphan girl who is mistakenly sent to a childless couple that thought they were
getting a boy to help on their farm. What follows is a series of trials and
tribulations that almost cause them to send Anne back to the orphanage. However,
her constant chatter, romantic imaginings and irresistible charm convince them
that she is the best thing that ever happened to them, and Anne finds a loving
family.

From the award-winning director and production team that brought Conor
McPherson's "The Weir" to our stage, comes another quiet, haunting story
by the same playwright. In Dublin, a guilt-ridden man reaches out to a therapist
after seeing the ghost of his recently deceased wife. Wrestling with his own
demons, the therapist can only do so much to help. Routine visits between the
two men quickly become a gripping struggle to survive, changing both of them for
the rest of their lives.
Produced by Nanette Reynolds (Doubt, The Iceman Cometh,
Blood Brothers, The Weir, Art)
Directed by Angie Anderson (The Iceman Cometh, The Weir)

Falsettos
by William Finn & James Lapine
A Tony-award winning musical in March? Yes, we have two musicals
this season!
Falsettos is a touching story of a modern family complemented by an
award-winning musical score. Set at the beginning of the AIDS
epidemic, Marvin seems blessed with the perfect family. He has a
caring wife, Trina and a young son, Jason. Nevertheless, the
family is soon broken apart when Marvin leaves Trina for a man.
The family psychiatrist provides intimate comfort to Trina, leaving
Jason stuck in the middle. Can the family survive?
A nominee for Best Musical, it was awarded the 1992 Tony Award for
Best Book and Score.
Produced by John Segota
Directed by Christopher Smith (ESP directing debut)
Music Direction by Elisa Rosman (Side Show, Suburb)

Hansel and
Gretel
by Michele L. Vacca
based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale
Hansel and Gretel have heard all the stories
about the mysterious witch in the forest, and only partially believe them to
be true, until they're lost in the woods and actually meet her.
Madame Hagatha Grundilly Sweetbriar is the zaniest witch anyone could
ever hope (or not hope) to encounter. Accompanied by her broom, Shibboleth,
and assisted by her two apprentices, Dizzy Weirdeena and Rasputin
Machiavelli Vampiro III, she lures Hansel and Gretel to her delectable
gingerbread, candy and ice cream house in the heart of the forest. There she
holds them captive, threatening to bake them into gingerbread.
Will Hansel and Gretel escape? Will the witch find a gingerbread pan
large enough to bake two children? Will Father save the day?
All these questions, and plenty you haven’t thought to ask, will be
answered when you see Hansel and Gretel.
Producer: Mary Ann Hall
Director: Barbara Carpenter
